The Inov-8 Mudclaw 300 has enormous grip thanks to 8 mm studs that dig into the surface. The sole and studs are designed in such a way that the mud is easily removed from between the studs.
The sole of the Mudclaw 300 consists of two types of rubber, namely sticky and hard rubber. Sticky provides some extra 'stickiness' and the hard rubber ensures that the studs dig even better into the sole.
This shoe also works well on the ropes during your obstacle or survival run. Thanks to the ropetec on the inside and outside in the middle of the shoe, you have more grip and durability in the ropes. In combination with the bumper around the shoe and the ballistic nylon upper, it is a durable shoe for obstacle and survival running.
The X-Talon's and Mudclaw are both suitable over extreme terrain and in the ropes. The big difference is that the Mudclaw has a different plate in the midsole. This provides more strength and protection against rocks and stones from the ground.
